Berry Good Smoothie Bowl

I’ve been slightly obsessed with smoothie bowls ever since returning from our trip. After reading an article on smoothie bowls in Veggie Journal, a magazine I regularly enjoy, I was inspired to try out their recipes. I am a big fan of smoothies, but I often need something more substantial for breakfast because I am always really hungry, especially in the morning. You can get really creative as well! I hope you enjoy the recipe!

Ingredients
  1. 1 banana
  2. 2 handfuls of berries (fresh or frozen)
  3. 4-6 tbsp of grain flakes (I used equal amounts of einkorn, kamut and emmer, all ancient grains)
  4. 1 pinch of camu camu
  5. 3/4 cup (180ml) plant milk (I used soy milk)
  6. TOPPINGS
  7. Granola
  8. 1 kiwi
Instructions
  1. Blend all ingredients except the toppings in a blender
  2. Transfer to a bowl
  3. Decorate with granola and kiwi, or whatever you have on hand
